The Art of Demonstrating and Sharing

If you communicate with other people and broadcast your ideas and concepts, you’ll need illustrations for that. PowerPoint is the perfect tool for creating presentations with texts and highlights, accents and visual demonstrations, pictures, audios, and videos embedded. The mobile version of PowerPoint can do all that.

If you’re heading to a remote place for your presentation and you’re unsure whether you have it, you can always check your OneDrive or ask your colleagues to resend you a copy. And if you need to edit it, you can.

For new presentations PowerPoint offers numerous templates. Each of them grants you can hold on to the same style in all the frames to the end. Each page is edited separately.

MS Office on Alien Platforms

Microsoft has done great work to make Office apps usable on mobile devices. It’s equally easy to create or display a presentation from a mobile device. Files made with mobile versions can be opened with desktop applications without distortions, and vice versa. Anything is preserved, from encoding and formatting to page layout and settings.

For 9.7’ or smaller devices, PowerPoint (just like all office apps) is free. If you use, say, iPad 10.5, the service will require Office365 subscription. On the other hand, the larger is your screen, the better it is for working with presentations, especially if they’re rich in media.

Pros

◆ Full-featured presentation editor and player;

◆ Integrated with OneDrive and other Office apps;

◆ Lots of templates for new presentations;

◆ Perfectly compatible with desktop versions.

Cons

◆ Paid for large screen devices;

◆ May require special equipment for displaying (depends on your device);

◆ Uncomfortable to edit on small screens.

“Presentation“ starts like “PowerPoint”!

Despite active rivalry, MS PowerPoint remains the default presentation app. So download Microsoft PowerPoint for iOS or Android to have your presentation material always on.
